Blair is an Edmonton-based abstract and semi-abstract artist who works primarily in acrylics. If you fancy yourself a daydreamer, curious soul, or just like to get lost in beautiful art every now and then, you are in the right place.
Local delivery is available within the greater Edmonton area for all available original and commissioned artwork. All canvas artwork is sealed with an isolation coat and UV protective varnish to preserve color over time.
From the Artist
Hello! I’m Blair. Since childhood, I’ve found joy in the arts, particularly theatre, painting, and music. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Education from the University of Alberta and more than a decade later re-connected with my love of painting during a period of healing and self-discovery.
As a recovering perfectionist, I initially found motivation and comfort in Andy Warhol’s message: “Don’t think about making art, just get it done. Let everyone else decide if it’s good or bad, whether they love it or hate it. While they are deciding, make even more art.”
And so I did. I kept making and trying new things, playing with color, mood, and texture. I started to believe that, through my art, I could not only bring more playfulness into my own life, but into others’ lives as well.
I live in Edmonton with my husband, daughter, and our two cats.
